There are moments when confidence feels so strong that it drowns out every trace of anxiety. This painting was made from that state. I wanted to capture the feeling of being so internally lifted, so filled with certainty, that doubt loses its power and the world begins to feel open.
What matters to me here is not ordinary self confidence, but a more heightened psychological condition. It is the moment when belief in yourself becomes almost physical, when you feel untouchable, fully present, and convinced that anything is possible. In that state, fear falls silent and even obstacles begin to seem temporary or irrelevant.
The phrase Keep It Real interests me because it holds a tension of its own. On one level, it suggests honesty and staying true to oneself.
