I create to unravel the thoughts that bind us and reshape the reality we live in
I’ve often wondered: Who am I beyond the thoughts that constantly occupy my mind? I believe our reality is nothing more than a collection of ideas we've accepted as truth. These ideas can control us, without us ever choosing them. But what if we could take control of our thoughts and, in turn, our reality?
Through my art, I explore the possibility of untangling these thoughts and creating a new, self-chosen reality. By painting, I unravel the magic of reality — breaking free from the beliefs that confine us.
Biography
Born in Novosibirsk, Siberia, I’ve always felt like an outsider, never quite fitting into my surroundings. From childhood panic attacks to the dissatisfaction of my daily life, I sought refuge in painting — creating my own world on canvas. I was told that painting was a trivial pursuit, so I chose to study genetics and worked in biotechnology, thinking it was the "real" path to follow. But it never fulfilled me, and I was still plagued by panic attacks. I began meditating, exploring the power of thoughts, and slowly, my life started to change. I left toxic relationships, changed careers, and moved to a city I love. As I began to understand how our beliefs shape our reality, my worldview became much more comfortable, I started thinking more positively, and the quality of my life improved significantly. Now, I fully embrace my calling as an artist, reflecting on how our internal world shapes the reality we live in through my work.
